All of our support workers require:
- A valid CPR and First Aid Level C certification
- A valid Social Insurance Number
- A valid Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification or valid Safe Management Group certification
- Understanding and Managing Aggressive Behaviour (UMAB) training
- Possession at least one Certificate/Degree in Personal Support Worker (PSW), Developmental Services Worker (DSW), Child and Youth Worker (CYW), and/or Social Service Worker (SSW)
- A strict adherence to Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice
- Eligibility to work in Canada and valid photo identification
- A minimum of 3 professional references
- A criminal record check
- Vulnerable Sector Screening (Less than 6 months)
- A recent medical report
